Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate Injection 0.2%

Composition:

Each ml contains:
Dexamethasone phosphate
(as dexamethasone sodium phosphate): 2 mg
Excipients (ad.): 1 ml

Indications:

Metabolic disorder, non-lnflammatory processes, especially acute musculoskeletal inflammation, allergic conditions, stress and shock conditions, As an aid in infectious diseases, induction of pregnancy.
Target species: Cattle, Horse, Cats, Dogs.

Administration and Dosage:

For intravenous or intramuscular injection.
Cattle: 5-20 mg (2.5-10 ml) per time
Horse: 2.5-5 mg (1.25-2.5 ml) per time.
Cats: 0.125-0.5 mg (0.0625-0.25 ml) per time.
Camels: 0.25-1 mg (0.125-0.5 ml) per time.

Contra-Indications:

Care should be taken to avoid accidental Self-injection.
Once vial has been broached, contents must be used within 28 days.
Dispose of any unused product and empty containers.
Wash hand after use.

Side Effects:

lt has strong water-sodium retention and potassium-removing action.
It has strong immunosuppressive action.
It may cause abortion when using in latter half of gestation.

Withdrawal Period:

Slaughter: 21 days.
Milk: 72 hours.

Storage:

Store below 30°C.
Protect from light.
