Zinc Oxide Cream For Pet Use For Treatment Of Dermatitis/eczema

Zinc oxide exhibits anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce redness, swelling, and itching in dogs.  Zinc oxide acts as an astringent, it helps to dry out the affected area, which can promote healing. When the ointment comes into contact with the damaged surface albuminates are formed and there is denaturation of proteins, which reduces exudation, which leads to the elimination of inflammation, and accelerates wound healing. Zinc oxide can have a soothing effect on irritated skin.
